Wachi is a high school student who worked as an actor. One day, he was infected with a frenzied froglet, given to him by Chiharu Matsuyamachi, transforming him into a half fractured human. He then entered the underground market, selling his tears as a drug alongside his partner in crime, Kudarantula.
He is now in the employment of S.K.A.T.
Appearance[]
Souta is of average height for his age, sporting slightly long hair. He typically wears light-colored business attire complemented by a dog collar. As he begins to transform into his fractured human form, he develops canine traits, including canid ears on his head, a canine-like nose, and sharper teeth, resembling a lycanthrope.
Personality[]
Souta appears very obedient and submissive, as evidenced by the leash and collar around his neck. He may also carry a general sadness, influenced by the nature of his powers. Nevertheless, he attempts to escape and fight back against S.K.A.T. after Kudarantula is killed by Mikazuchi Takemitsu. In an act of defiance, he bites Shintarou Jagasaki's hand, demonstrating a feral survival instinct, though this could be a side effect of his abilities.
Later, it is revealed that his infection by the frenzied froglet was not a mere accident; Chiharu Matsuyamachi offered him the chance to be infected, which he accepted eagerly. This decision stemmed from his declining popularity, which led to his family accumulating significant debts, ultimately causing his father to divorce his mother and leaving them both. His mother's subsequent suicide deeply affected Souta, leading him to wish for a similar fate. However, he abandoned this mindset when Matsuyamachi presented him with the opportunity of becoming a frenzied froglet, resulting in Souta viewing Matsuyamachi as a savior for half-fractured humans.
Powers and Abilities[]
Lycanthrope Tears[]
Thanks to the frenzied froglet within him, Souta can transform his features to resemble those of a member of the canine family. The primary aspect of his power is that his tears have become a hallucinogenic drug, which is exploited by Kudarantula and marketed as "Shu! Wa! Chi!" , allowing them to capitalize on this ability.
Transformations[]
First/Human Form[]
Souta's first form is his regular human form. This allows him to look like a completely normal high schooler.
Second Form[]
In his second form, the actual transformations begin. Here, he becomes a minor lycanthrope, with only his nose changing and canid ears sprouting from his head. It remains unclear whether this form impacts the hallucinogenic properties of his tears or his physical abilities, such as strength or speed.
Third Form[]
Souta's third form enhances his lycanthropic traits further, giving his face a more angular appearance, making his hair shaggier, and sharpening his teeth. It is likely that this form does not increase his strength, as he is easily captured by Nakadai and struggles to escape his grasp. It is also uncertain if the hallucinogenic properties of his tears are affected in this form.
