Shakuntani was a teacher at Buppa Middle School who transformed into the fractured human known as "Desacra-Chin," the Fearful Fractured Beast Teacher. This change occurred after he suppressed his dissatisfaction to the extent that the frenzied frog, feeding off the sadness within him, turned him into a fractured human.
He was ultimately defeated and killed by the combined efforts of Shintarou Jagasaki and Chiharu Matsuyamachi, which put an end to his middle school feeding frenzy.
Appearance[]
In his human form, Shakuntani was characterized by his prominent chin, earning him the nickname "Chin-Tani." He had short black hair and wore glasses, a sweater, a white dress shirt, and a tie.
In his fractured human form, Shakuntani loses most of his human traits aside from his chin, transforming into a giant crocodile-like beast with green scales, red eyes, a large pale mouth filled with sharp teeth, and a pronounced chin. In this second form, while he retains some features, his chin shortens, his eyes alter in shape, and he develops the arms and legs of his victims protruding from his skin.
Personality[]
Shakuntani was deeply passionate about his students' education, yet his proposals for improving the school's curriculum were consistently dismissed by both the principal and the students. This persistent sadness became the source of nourishment for the frenzied frog within him, likely contributing to his evolution into a fractured human.
In his fractured form, Shakuntani passionately expresses his belief that the education system must change to better support both students and teachers, channeling his sadness and anger. This transformation makes him much more aggressive and willing to resort to violence.

Shakuntani possesses a massive crocodilian body, featuring a sharp set of jaws capable of biting through a normal human as easily as scissors cut through paper. Upon evolving, the fractured crocodile begins to sprout the arms and legs of its victims, which seem to reach outward as if still trying to move.
Increased Strength[]
Like many other fractured humans, Shakuntani in his fractured form exhibits inhuman strength, easily lifting fully grown individuals into his mouth. As he continues to fracture, he gains both size and strength in tandem.
Regeneration[]
As an evolved fractured human, Shakuntani can withstand multiple gunshots and explosions, continuing to fight even after sustaining severe injuries, including having his head blown off. Each time he suffers a potentially fatal blow, he sprouts the arms and legs of his victims from his wounds. These new appendages gradually meld into his body, regenerating the lost parts. The only method capable of stopping him for good appears to be Chiharu Matsuyamachi's wood tentacles, which impale him and prevent sufficient space for regeneration.

As an evolved fractured human, Shakuntani has two distinct forms: his normal form and his evolved form.
First/ Fractured Form[]
First Form
In his first form, Shakuntani takes on a large, crocodile-like body that towers over an average person. His dark scales cover his entire body, with a lighter patch extending from his chest to his stomach. His already prominent chin grows even larger, featuring two rows of sharp, pointed teeth, while his eyes and nose retain a human shape, with round irises and lenses. In this form, he can still sit upright like a person, suggesting that he would walk on two feet rather than four, although running on all fours may grant him greater speed.
Second/Evolved Form[]

Shakuntani's evolved form was obtained after Jagasaki shot him in the head, mistakenly believing he had killed him. Upon regenerating his head, Shakuntani sprouts the arms and legs of his devoured students, rapidly altering his features. His irises shift from round to vertical slits, resembling those of a crocodile.
Rapidly increasing in size, his body soon exceeded the dimensions of the room he occupied in the school. At his largest, his jaws could open wide enough to swallow both Jagasaki and Bell in a single bite, had he reached them. His overall size could be compared to that of a bus.
Frenzied Frog[]
Shakuntani's frenzied frog looked like a much smaller version of what his Fractured form had become, with many small sharp teeth within its mouth.
