Ren Nojo, more commonly known as Nomans Nomen is the secondary antagonist of Jagaaaaaan. He is introduced as the de-facto leader of the Deader Land group. He is a Half-Fractured Human and the Deader Land (D)eath Area King.
Appearance[]
Nomen is a male of average height and build, however he is characterized by his lack of eyeballs, nose and hair. He is shown only wearing suits although seemingly does not possess a 'normal' human body shape as he is able to liquify his body and stretch into a variety of shapes. His teeth which typically remain hidden are small and misshaped with large gaps in between.
Little is known about what he had looked like prior to his fractured form, however he was depictured with long black hair while splitting into his new form.
Personality[]
Before becoming a Half-Fractured Human, Nomen was a Human known as Nojo. He was described as a decent guy who was "always trying to escape the concept of 'The Self'". After meeting Chiharu Matsuyamachi and being granted his Frenzied Froglet, he had lost himself in what he had become.
Nomen is shown to be a very disturbed person firmly believing in his ideology, he is also very charismatic. At face value he is shown to be a kind and intelligent person, however deep down this is not the case.

Before Fracturing[]
Even since he was a child, Ren Nojo was a talented individual who treated everything he did as a game to overcome. He excelled at school and in sport and music which he was offered to become a professional footballer or a chance to study prestigious music academy in Europe but he refused all of its out of boredom.
Eventually, he established a company with his friends. After a successful IPOs, he became a millionaire nut a life of success became unfulfilled. One day, as he became tired of living, Chiharu Matsuyamachi turned him into a Half-Fractured Human as he committed suicide. It was at this time that he had founded the Deader Land theme park, Chiharu taking the role of Deader Lands Great Demon King Nabingo while Nojo became Deader Lands (D)eath Area king, Nomans Nomen.
Deader Land[]
Nomen is first seen after Shintarou Jagasaki and Clarabelle Kawamoto arrive at Deader Land, he is sitting on top of one of the castles towers with the other Area Kings: Pino Brahman, Chongirou Rabbit, and Iminashi Hoichi looking down at the approaching crowd.
Not long after Pino kidnaps Bell, Nomen is introduced to the police women. After a very intimidating conversation in which Nomen had grew new eyeballs and proceeded to eat them, he is seen welcoming a group of theme park attendees whom had just gained 10,000 Deader Land Points to a set dinner table. He would begin to question their desires, serving them Frenzied Froglets on plates. After explaining how the Froglets would grant them the powers they needed to make their desires come true, he would watch as the group each took the Froglets willingly. One girl, Mona Linda would catch his attention more than the rest.
Sometime after the deaths of both Chongirou Rabbit and Iminashi Hoichi, Nomen would great Jagasaki, Mikazuchi, Nakadai, and Yuma as they entered the Deader Castle. Nomen himself sat in front of a Gargantuan Frenzied Frog which towered above any person in the room. He begins to express his desire to turn Deader Land into a Nation, fulfilling every persons wishes and desires. Jagasaki responds by shooting Nomen in the head with his Jagaaan hand pistol causing the back of the Half Fractured Humans head to explode out behind him, however Nomen reveals that he is perfectly fine having used his fractured ability to save himself. While Jagasaki and Pino leave the castle to continue their fight, Nomen and Mikazuchi begin in a battle of their own.
With Nakadai and Yuma following after Jagasaki to assist him, Nomen begins to
converse with a less than enthusiastic Mikazuchi. He would begin questioning his motives for fighting, and upon offering to resurrect Mikazuchi's deceased son should he join them, is swiftly cut in half. Although his goo-like body simply breaks apart and reforms unharmed and wrapped around Mikazuchi, driving one of his tentacles into the Fractured Human Warriors neck, penetrating his carbon shell. Upon releasing Mikazuchi, Nomen reveals that he had copied his sons memories and data from within Mikazuchi. Using this new data to remake Mikazuchi's lost son.
Arriving just as the battle between Pino and Jagasaki had come to an end, Mikazuchi would stab Jagasaki through the back with his carbon sword while Nomen himself dumped a pale of water over the knocked out Pino revealing the S.K.A.T. officer's betrayal. Looking down at an injured Jagasaki, Nomen would offer him the same deal he had offered to Mikazuchi, although Jagasaki declines being narrowly saved by Doku. Nomen would only look on with his creepy, blank smile.
News Broadcasts[]
Nomen is next seen on a televised press conference reporting on the 'terrorist' attack that had occurred at Deader Land, planting all of the blame upon Jagasaki having handed photos of him over to the police. At this point Nomen would reveal to the world that he too was a Half-Fractured Human, claiming his kind to be necessary in this new world. Going on to invite all watching to come to Deader Land and become Half-Fractured Humans.
During yet another interview Nomen would announce his plan to join together with the police department, forming a squad to specially combat Fractured Humans called the "Black Oni Corps" led by Mikazuchi.
Back at the Deader Castle Nomen would be having a conversation with Nabingo about how many people of influence have become Half-Fractured Humans, and how they will soon be able to create a new world. Although Nabingo claims that what Nomen is saying is boring, and that he has changed from the interesting person he was. Nomen simply responds that people who cannot adapt to change will be wiped out.
Political Conquest[]
Sometime after Yukimaru breaks into Deader Castle, killing the Gargantuan Frenzied frog, and Chiharu's betrayal, Nomen announces his candidacy in the Buppa City Mayoral Election.
During a brief discussion with Mikazuchi and Pino at Deader Castle, Nomen stresses Chiharu's importance to their plans, stating that he needs to be captured alive. The conversation is abruptly ended with the arrival of Mona Linda who informed the group that it was almost time for the Departure Ceremony.
As the Ceremony is broadcasted to the city, Nomen would introduce the Black Oni and his team, the Black Oni Corps to the world. Claiming that they would be the ones to protect them from 'evil'.
Nomen would host yet another rally campaigning for his mayoral cadency, where he would pander to the crowd. Proclaiming that their wishes can come true, and that they can create a place where humans and Half-Fractured humans can live together in peace with him as Mayor. Afterwards he proceeds to have sex with Mona, asking her to never leave him.
The night before the Election[]
That same night Nomen and Mona host a pre-election party with an array of guests. Before long Chiharu makes his presence known, revealing himself disguised as a waiter and begins attacking Nomen. Using his wood ability, Chiharu would attempt to crush Nomen within his branches, although the attack had no affect on Nomen's goo-like body. As the Black Oni steps in between Chiharu and Nomen, Jagasaki breaks through the glass window entering the room and shooting Nomen in the head. Once again he simply allows the bullet to break off of himself, sacrificing some of the DNA in his body to save his own life. Jagasaki would begin a rapid fire upon Nomen, depleting around 10 of his lives. Before more damage could be done however, Mona would shield her boss from any further attacks with her gravity shield ability. Nomen and Mona would begin to float away, her gravity ability granting them some sort of flight. Jagasaki would pursue them only to be intercepted by Pino Brahman, allowing Nomen and Mona to continue fleeing.
Powers and Abilities[]
Remake[]
An ability that allows Nomen to read and duplicate the data stored within frenzied frogs. Creating a body from his own goo-like substance that makes up his own being which then acts as a vessel in which he then implants their memories and DNA up from until the moment of their death, giving them new life.
Damage Mitigation[]
One of the ways that Nomen has to work around things such as Jagasaki's biological bullets is his ability to separate parts of his body at will. This allows him to avoid the damage it would have caused him otherwise. By using the data he has stored within him he can avoid damage that would normally be lethal. This ability is limited only by the amount of DNA he has stored.
Half-Fractured Human[]
His body seemingly possesses the ability to change into a goo-like substance which he can manipulate to wrap around people. This form also seemingly makes him impervious to being cut, shot, or torn apart as he can simply reform his body after the assault. He also seems to be able to change his shape to some degree, although it is unknown if he can fully change his appearance as Yadori does.
Disgustingly Nomen is able to generate new eyes seemingly at will, although doing so seems to ruin his soft and innocent appearance, giving him a much more gruesome and eerie look. Not only capable of re-growing said parts, Nomen can also molt his eyes, going as far as even eating his own eyeballs.
